​    Glassblowing workshop for couples is an amazing opportunity to share the tangible and visual experience with a partner. The workshop begins with an explanation of the studio, working processes with hot glass, and safety at work.

 

What will you make?

2 blown pieces - such as a cup / bowl / plate / small vase

2 paperweights - a solid-colored glass ball or a blown colored ball

 

• The cost of the workshop for couple is 900 NIS.

• The workshop includes two blown pieces and two balls.

• The size of all blown pieces is similar to cup.

• The duration of the workshop is around an hour and a quarter

• All activities in the studio are private

• The collection of the works takes place a few days after the

   workshop, see explanation below.

 

A personal note from us...

The value for the workshop is not for the end product, but for the entire making process. Since the glass blowing technique is complicated, it cannot be accepted or order exactly the shape you imagine or expect. During the process we share you in almost all the stages of doing as much as possible and work together.

Since it is handmade and a complex material, each glass piece is unique and there is no piece that is the same as another piece and there is certainly no such thing as an exact glass work and in our opinion, this is the MAGIC of the Glassblowing.

 

Collection of glass works

• Your glass pieces will stay in the kiln for the cooling process and can be collected from 1 up to 7 days after the workshop and finishing the coldwork, cutting and grinding.

• In urgent cases the works can be ready to pick up after 24 hours from the workshop, we will be happy and try to help you with this if it will be possible. ​

• It is possible to send the works by courier with the addition of NIS 80. It can take up to two weeks.
